The stories, history, and mystery depicted on these coins have survived for generations, in part because the coins have survived. They are a touchstone to the human experience and our collective resilience.
About Zamani Jewelry
The Zamani story
Zamani is more than just a word. It’s a meaningful term that honors our collective heritage, nurturing our deep connection to history. Across the cradle of civilization, resonating through diverse cultures and multiple languages in Africa and Asia, the word ‘Zamani’ has a similar meaning — a connection to the past. Yet, it goes beyond this simplistic definition into something more profound and serves as a keystone in understanding our present and envisaging a hopeful future.
The spirit of Zamani fuels our passion for our jewelry, creating a life and character of its own. We focus on authentic coins, relics, and gemstones, ensuring that every piece of Zamani jewelry is unique and timeless. These coins are rare, cherished among collectors, and are investments for future generations. The narratives, history, and enigma embodied in these coins have withstood the test of time, much like the coins themselves. They serve as a testament to our shared human journey and the enduring strength of our collective spirit.
What is the Zamani story?
The Kirkhams’ journey is marked by love, lifelong learning, and a broad palette of international experiences. Although the inspiration stems from travel, history, and art, their personal and professional journeys heavily influence Zamani’s creative direction.
Dr. Sally L. Kirkham, Ph.D., is a respected education specialist, author, and former fashion model. Her husband, Dr. Wayne R. Kirkham, M.D., known as the “Voice Doctor to the Stars,” recently retired from his medical practice to devote more time to Zamani.
Mrs. Ana Lino-Kirkham, with her upbringing in Portugal and Spain and education in the United Kingdom, infuses a unique European perspective into Zamani. Her husband, Mr. Stewart Kirkham, a Gemological Institute of America graduate and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison complements her global expertise. Their shared passion led them to find love in Dubai, inspiring them to infuse elements of romance and sensuality into Zamani’s collections.
The Kirkham family unites in their pursuit of creating beautiful, elegant, and timeless jewelry—pieces that resonate with your story and can be cherished for generations to come.
